World class Sikulis beach resort built in the heart of the wonder most island of the south


 Languyan, Tawi Tawi -  Mayor Yshmael E. Sali of this municipality built a world class Sikulis beach resort at the heart of mountainous area of said municipality, a Nevertheless, one of the wonder most island of the south.

The Sikulis beach resort has an area of 10 hectares  more or less. A white sand beach with a crystallized sparkling waters splashes along the shores with a little bit white bubbles tempted you to swim and have fun with them.


The resort has a fullest natures of  beauty that can caters a thousand’s of  tourists wanted to relax and have fun with their world class cottages that made of rattan and hard wood  curving’s coming from the virgin forest of this wonder most island municipality of the south.

While you were tired of swimming, the 2 – stories lepa glass restaurant invited you to get in and tastes of their relaxing native delicacies, fresh native juices and sea foods  that you will never resists when you taste it.

This world class resorts is a very admirable to different visitors both local and international. The mayor also planned to put up a crocodile farm inside the area for a tourists attraction.  Botanical gardens also  one of the priority in order to give the good ambiance and to preserve its natural beauty of the resort, said the mayor.


The resort has 37 rattan cottages, a lepa glass restaurant and hotel, having a night shows with their band and singers. The resort has also a jet skate, banana boat and other water amenities that serve better  the tourists needs of having fun with the blue waves water of the beach.

The beach also introduces to explore their sinking galleon with  50 ft  deep along the blue waters of the beach and having fun with their beautiful corals, and alluring small creatures tempted you to swim and have fun with them.

Therefore; the local government of Languyan headed by Mayor Yshmael Sali with his wife Hja. Jumda Sali  has doubled their works and efforts  to finish this resort projects in order to host the double celebration for  the  incoming Kamahardikaan sin Tawi-Tawi and their 40th Kamahardikaan sin Languyan this coming September 20 – 27, 2017.

Visa-free entry to boost PH-Taiwan tourism ties



MANILA -- Tourist arrivals in Taiwan and the Philippines are expected to double in the next three years following the former’s decision to grant Filipinos a visa-free entry.

“We are hoping that the number of tourists between our two countries will double in the next three years,” James Huang, chairman of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, told reporters on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the Taiwan Expo Friday.

Huang considers tourism an important industry for both Taiwan and the Philippines.

He said the tourism business between the two countries soared to a record 70 percent to 80 percent in the past three years.

“I am very, very optimistic once the visa-free program is implemented. Tourists’ ties between our two countries will be further strengthened,” Huang said.

He added that Taiwan’s decision to give Filipinos a visa-free entry can also enhance cultural, economic and trade ties with the Philippines.


Huang said Taiwan Premier Lai Ching-te approved two days ago a visa-free status to citizens of the Philippines. (PNA)
