Through continues projects implementations, there will be a peace in the end - Engr. Abdulmunir I. Hadjirul

Jolo, Sulu – District Engineer Abdulmunir Hadjirul of the Department of Public Works and Highways has almost turned over already all 18 senior high school buildings  in his districts.

Hadjirul said during the turned over ceremony in Parang National High School recently“ he is very thankful to all teachers and local local government units for a very cooperative during the construction of the said buildings”.
 
Senior High School Students in Parang, Sulu waved their hands as symbol of their happiness of having a new building.
The DPWH-1st Engineering  District under District Engineer Abdulmunir Hadjirul  very happy seeing students comfortable on their studies because of very good ambiance and well- furnished rooms they had”, said Hadjirul.

Aside Senior High School buildings, the district has already done their farm – to – market roads projects even though the peace and order in some projects not  yet stable but their men never surrender to help the people.

The Department was very optimistic of pursuing the government project implementations because they believes, through continues  implementation, there will be the  peace in the end.(By: Becky D. de Asis)

Multi-Billion flagship project of ARMM implemented in Basilan - Engineer Soler Undug


Lamitan, Basilan -  The DPWH Basilan Engineering District under Engineer Soler Undug doubled  his time to help Basilaneous  to build the province  by implementing the multi-billion projects of the government headed by the Autonomous Regional Governor Mujiv Hataman thru the DPWH Secretary Mustapha “Don” Loong of DPWH-ARMM.

Engineer Soler Undug conducted survey in all municipalities of  his area of responsibilities who needs the support of the government.

The  P1.20Billion 55 kilometers Transcentral road  connecting  different municipalities and the  P250 – Million Government  Center as part of Flagship projects of the Autonomous Region under Governor Mujiv Hataman, said Undug in an interview. (By: Becky D. de Asis)

Lamitan, Basilan  -  DPWH-ARMM Secretary Don Mustapha  Loong, Tun Mustapha persistent enough on his marching order in every district offices in the ARMM to fast – tract the implemention of the infrastructure needs in every barangays such us road networks, bridges and ports in the region..

Transparency and Act with prudent manner to implement the projects, which simultaneously instructed Engr. Rodjim S. Arai, to inspect various sites like Barangay Bohe Tambak, Tipo-Tipo of the saod province to implement a "box culvert" projects to make fully accessible to all riding public.


In Barangay Bohe Tambak  at  portion boundary between Tipo-Tipo and Al-Barka Municipality..which is link and connected to Brgy. Badja, Brgy. Bangcuang and Brgy. Macalang, Al-Barka Municipality.

The river passing through is from the creek of Bohe Basilan, we're if heavy rains pour, villagers cannot access the roads because of the strong river current going along.. 

Villagers are tend to wait for an hour or even more, which only across after the river gradually lower it's currents.

The DPWH-ARMM Basilan immediately responded the problems of the people  here,  they putting-up "box culvert"  for temporary solution.

Residents here are very thankful to the DPWH of the Autonomous Region thru the District Engineer Soler Undug for a very optimistic that after a long years the dream of having a bridge are about to realized.


Hapilon’s kin, two more Abus yield in Basilan

 Zamboanga City A relative of slain emir Isnilon Hapilon and two more members of the Abu Sayyaf Group under top leaders Furuji Indama and Nurhasan Jamir laid down their arms as combat operations are being intensified in Basilan.

Ben Salina Sapilin, a.k.a. Ben, a cousin of the late sub-leader Hapilon, and two other Abu Sayyaf members, identified as Rami Ben Sapilin and Muhamadendeng, yielded to the troops in Barangay Macalang, Albarka, Basilan at 4pm last October 17, 2017.

Also surrendered by the group of Sapilin were an M16 A1 rifle, a Caliber .30 M1 Garand rifle, and an M79 rifle.

Rami Ben Sapilin, a.k.a. Attik, is listed in the records of the Armed Forces of the Philippines as a follower of Nurhasan Jamiri, while Muhamadendeng, a.k.a. Aburayhad, is a follower of Furudji Indama.

The surrender was facilitated by operating troops of the 74th Infantry Battalion led by 1st Lieutenant Ali Kagui under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel Jonas Templo, according to Colonel Juvymax Uy, commander of the Joint Task Force Basilan.

“Sapilin and his companions are currently in the custody of the 74IB for the debriefing to be facilitated by our intelligence units,” he added.

For this year, a total of 124 Abu Sayyaf members surrendered to government forces. Of this, 68 yielded in Basilan, 33 in Sulu, 21 in Tawi-Tawi, and two in Zamboanga City.

“Our Joint Task Forces will continue to sustain their security operations to bring about the eventual defeat of the Abu Sayyaf operating in the ZamBaSulTa area,” said Lieutenant General Carlito G. Galvez, Jr., commander of the Western Mindanao Command.

“With the neutralization of the Abu Sayyaf leader Isnilon Hapilon, we believe more of the bandits will surrender and return to the fold of law in the coming days.” 

1,641 families in Vitali, Zamboanga City affected in Typhoon Paolo - City government released immediate assistance


Zamboanaga City  -  The Philippine Marines Landing Team (MBLT-11)  conducted crowd control on the relief good distributions at Brgy Vitali, Zamboanga City last 16 Oct 17.


The activity provided immediate assistance to the needs of affected families of the Typhoon Paolo. They have  a  total of 1,641 families benefited the relief good distributions of the city government of Zamboanga. (with reports by DEO Martinez)
