Languyan is fast becoming a progressive municipality through noble leadership and governance of Yshmael "Mhang" Sali.

The municipality that had difficulty in bringing in an electric cooperative (ELCO) has now a 2x200kW gensets for its Diesel Power Plant facility that distributes regular supply of electricity to the homes of its raayat.

This is one of the major breaks in the development of the said municipality during the stewardship of Mayor Mang Sali.
